What happens Next

When you decide to proceed with our services, the first step to reserve your spot is to complete our online booking form. A £50 deposit is required, and once received, we'll send you a placenta collection kit with an Evri courier at approximately 36 weeks of pregnancy. The kit includes instructions for midwives, ice blocks (they go straight to the freezer), a small plastic box, a zip lock bag, and a placenta release form for your midwife to fill in.

Upon the safe arrival of your baby, kindly inform us so that we can promptly collect the placenta and begin the encapsulation process. The placenta needs be placed in the cool box within half an hour after delivery. We recommend giving the baby a full half-hour (+ the time the placenta is still in the womb) for the transfer of all the blood, as this is beneficial for the baby's health. Delaying the separation can hold significant symbolic value, as the placenta is the baby's first companion and friend, allowing for a gentle transition into the earthside world.

Your capsules will be ready within 24 hours upon collection and will be sent to you with Royal Mail Next Day Delivery service.

Please note: For locations beyond a 20-mile radius from Omagh, a mileage pick-up fee of 0.45 pence per mile will apply.

!!! Contraindication for encapsulation: Smoking during pregnancy !!!

It's important to note that smoking during pregnancy is a contraindication for placenta encapsulation. Cigarette smoke contains harmful substances, including cadmium, which can be present in the placenta. For the safety and well-being of both mother and baby, we cannot encapsulate placentas from mothers who have smoked during pregnancy.
