Simple Capsules: With a simple encapsulation process, the placenta is sliced, dehydrated, and transformed into a fine powder and encapsulated. Simple capsules are said to give an energy boost. The price for this option is £220.
Steamed Capsules: Steamed encapsulation method follows Traditional Chinese Method (TCM), where the placenta is gently steamed with ginger, lemon, and chili. This process harmonizes the yin and yang energies post-birth. After steaming, the placenta is divided, dehydrated, and encapsulated. Steaming process reduce size of placenta, hence the steamed process will yield about 15% less capsules. Steamed capsules are said to be calming and relaxing. The price for this revitalizing option is also £220.
Half Simple/Half Steamed Capsules: To experience the benefits of both methods, we offer the option of a half Simple/half Steamed combination. Suggested intake would be to take would be to take simple capsules in the morning for energy boost and steamed capsules in the evening for relaxation. This balanced approach can provide the best of both worlds, priced at £240.
Average sized placenta will yield about 150 capsules, up to this date the smallest placenta we encapsulated made 104 capsules and the biggest one made 310 capsules.
The choice between simple and steamed capsules depends on individual preferences and needs. However, if testing positive for GBS or if the placenta is stained with meconium, then capsules need to be prepared by steamed method.
